Sessions Include

Full Body Lymphatic Massage:

I feel it is important to cover as much of the whole body in every session as is possible.  The body functions as a whole entity and as such I feel it is important to always tie in the whole to any part we may be focusing on.

Clarification On What I Mean When I Say Whole Body:

Even though I am trained to work on literally your whole body there are certain areas that either for privacy reasons or a client’s personal preference may not be included in a session.   I will always ask before working on any area that is not normally included in most practitioner sessions such as abdomen, chest, breasts, the inguinal (groin) lymph nodes to name a few of the more delicate areas.

As I am working I am also “asking” your bodies permission for the work I am doing.  If I feel your body does not want me to touch a particular area I will respect it.  There are times unconscious memories and feelings are being stored in particular areas of the body that need to be respected and have addressed in an appropriate environment.

I do everything possible to make your visit and session as comfortable and supportive as I can.  Please always let me know if there is anything more that you would want.

Soft Tissue Organ Manipulation:

Not many practitioners include this work anymore.  During this part of the session we will gently work on your colon, spleen, liver, gall bladder to name a few of the soft tissue organs addressed during a session.  We will also be working with the lymph of these areas.  The largest collection of lymph nodes in the body is in the gastrointestinal area.

Therapeutic Aromatherapy:

A diffuser filled with specific oils is always on during sessions to further facilitate the healing process.  I hold a certificate in Essential Oils Therapeutics.  I love working with oils and truly feel they are a gift from our Mother.

Foot & Hand Reflexology:

During my college days I used to work on people’s feet at the pond gathering area.  I found feet were the one part of most peoples bodies that was safe to touch.  I have always loved working on feet.  Your feet will get extra special attention in every session as well as your hands.  I use a special Coconut Oil blend on your feet that I personally formulate using only organic and wild crafted ingredients.

Hot Pack Treatment:

Most sessions begin with the client lying on their bellies.  While I am working on your legs you will have a warming moist heat pad on your back to help the back, shoulder, and neck muscles relax as well as providing an overall sense of comfort and security.

Castor Oil Packs:

I will have a whole section devoted just to Castor Oil Packs they are so important.  Every person has their own pack that will be on your abdominal and or chest area throughout most of the session.

Custom Organic Massage Oil Blend:

I have just recently changed my formula.  I am now using Virgin Cold Pressed Organic Coconut Oil as the primary base to my formula.  Unlike other oils coconut oil does not go rancid and the skin really likes this oil.  To this I add a proprietary Healing Oil Blend by Gardenia Gardener.   I also add Pine, Palo Santo, Frankincense, and Sandalwood essential oils.  Other oils or flower essences will be added both seasonally and for specific client needs.  All ingredients are either organic or wild crafted.

Coconut Oil is exceptional for the skin and is highly recommended to use after bathing to apply to the whole body.  It is also used for Oil Pulling, a technique for pulling toxins from the skin and  for oral hygiene.  And of course Coconut Oil internally is becoming the oil of choice for both cooking and for healing.

Individualizing Sessions:

I will always ask you to let me know how the work I am doing feels to you.  When something feels really right that tells me something.  When I am doing something that does not feel right to you that also tells me something.  Sometimes I just need to make an adjustment in how I am doing what I am doing.  Though sometimes there is a block that we just need to slow down a bit and take that part of the session more gently or find another approach.  It is your body and I want/need your participation.  Many new techniques that I have learned have sprung out of sessions with clients.  Your body is my teacher as well as your own if you allow it to be one.

E-Mail Session Follow Ups:

During sessions some suggestions or recommendations may come up.  I will always e-mail you these later so that you do not need to concentrate on them during a session.  This is a bonus gift I offer as part of our working together.

Session Follow Ups:

Sessions are meant to stimulate momentum in your body.  This is what we are looking to happen.  Usually it takes a day or two for you to know the full benefits of a session.  What we look for is some change.  Most people will feel better, more refreshed and energized,  Though in certain circumstances when there has been a very long tenacious block there may be no noticeable change at first.  Occasionally a person will have a reaction to the toxins being stirred and will need some rest time while the body is processing these releases.  I do my best to minimize these reactions but in some situations it is unavoidable.

I usually recommend tying to have a follow up session in a 7-10 day period.  Of course this is very personal and will be addressed with you on a one to one basis.

Contact Me:

I do my best to respond to all e-mails or phone messages as quickly as possible.  It is a gift for me to have you come and have a session.

You will find specific session information on the Sessions page and appointment information on An Appointment page.
